Yart Sale and other events POSTPONED

Hi neighbors. It’s been a wild ride the last 48 hours or so, eh? How you all doing? Staying calm? Practicing good self care? We hope so.

We’ve had a moment to take a few deep breaths and thought about the situation ourselves, and we’ve had some pressing questions.

What about that Burroughs Creek Trail Clean Up? What are we going to do about the Yart Sale?

Here’s what we’ve got:
Cancelled, buddies. For now.
From Hannah, organizer, as of this morning:
Good Morning all,
Due to ongoing concerns surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we will be cancelling the creek clean up scheduled for tomorrow morning. We will go ahead and plan to to continue with the April 11th clean up, but will keep everyone posted as new information becomes available.
Thank you for your support and dedication.

Our Yart Sale host, New York Elementary will be closed until March 30th. The Yart Sale will have to be rescheduled. We won’t cancel, but we will reschedule. Maybe April, maybe May, depending on what we’ve got to do to help keep each other safe. We’ll let you know. Keep collecting your stuff to donate, and think about volunteering. Man, are we going to need a little fun and socialization after we stay home with our kids for two weeks! Amirite?!

We’re working on some other ways of being good neighbors, of helping each other in these crazy days, but we don’t have any details yet. Do reach out if you need anything though. We’ll try to connect you to someone or services or something! to help you get what you need.

So, stay safe friends. Wash your hands. We’re thinking of you!
