Block Party! Block Party! Block Party!
It’s been a rough year. For everyone. In so many ways. We need each other, neighbors, now more than ever. And that is why we’ve got to have this party. So, make something tasty to eat and share, put on your snazziest park party attire, tuck a face mask in your pocket just in case, and come on down to Hobbs Park on Saturday September 25th. We’ll have our Annual ELNA Block Party there from 5-9pm. ELNA will provide the burgers (both meat and vegetarian) and some drinks. We’ll have beer for purchase by donation. You can bring a side dish or dessert to share. We’ll have live music and raffle items, for sure, and maybe a cakewalk and silly hats as well. We’ll ask our Bike Repair friends if they can come too, so you can bring your bike in need of small mending.
Want to help? We need volunteers to set up, grill, person the raffle/merch table, and clean up after.
You wanna play music for your neighbors? It’s a very chill gig.

Please let us know if you can help by emailing Lane at eastlawrence@yahoo.com.We will monitor our local Covid numbers closely, to make sure it’s still ok to gather, but we anticipate that it will still be safe to be outside together. With Covid safety in mind, though, we’ll try to spread out as much as we can, and we will not plan for an indoor rain location.
